Car Quiz

Each of the four cars mentioned is pictured in each segment. If you know one or two, the others should be easy.

Kaiser and Willys got me. I should have known better.

90% not so good on the Mopars and Mercs. Pretty solid on GM and other Fords. Interesting quiz. Thanks.

79... I passed. I also spotted a Datsun Fairlady roadster in the background of one of the pics. Any extra credit for knowing that?!

NA% - stopped at the first question about what year Chevrolets they were. My honest answer was "they're Chevrolets?"

CHILD!!

:jester:

Shouda aced that, but mixed up the '52 Merc with the '54. Result was 96%.

The DeSotos dragged my score down.

Cool cars, but not very common around here . . . :madder:

I got 100% but there is a reason. I am a National Judge with the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) so I see these cars all the time so it made it a lot easier. Had it not been for that, I might have no scored much over 50%

Yeah, that's the one that almost got me; I really had to think about it.

I went by period styling on other makes that I knew for that year. Trends were about the same b/w makers.

Ironically enough, what this quiz really showed me is proof that 50s cars were just as similar to each other as the modern people movers are to themselves. I think cars looks infinitely cooler in the 50s than they do today, but, for the most part, just like today, all shared common styling across the brands.

Trends are trends. Be it in hair, clothes or cars.

Back then they were cars, now they are just people movers.

Sorry --- double post.

I got 100%, but I'm a son-of-a-car nut, car nut..... I have spent my life identifying old iron... :driving:

94%....Desoto, Savoy, Firedome, etc....at least I knew they were all ChryDodPlyms
