Mark (abarth69) and Mrs Abarth both say the leather in my wife's new beetle is too hard. It is cracking, but has been since it was about a year old. I use leatherique to clean and condition a couple times a year. Is there something else I need to be doing?
I have stuff from Zymol. Not cheap but good. I have also used Hein Gericke leather treatment. Designed for motorcycle leather jackets it also dooes the job. Available at good motorcycle dealers, but definitely at a BMW cycle store.....
I used Lexol in the "T" bird and the seats were always soft. I now use it on the leather seats in the wifes "B". So, until they change the formula, I'll stick with it. JMHO. PJ
