Car heaven today...

A local agricultural college recently had a donation of classic cars from a supporter of the college, 100 of them to be exact for their 100th anniversary... The auction will be in June, meantime an army of local car nuts is working hard on them to prep for auction, the cars are all at an old car dealership...

I stopped in today to take a peek, amazing place! Old cars crammed in all over the place, with people hard at work, took some photos but apparently they don't want anything posted publicly until after the auction...

Wow - what a collection. Henry J, Jaguar E type, Jaguar XK140, Austin VandenPlas, etc etc etc.

Part of me hates to see the collection broken up. But there will be some happy new owners after that auction.

Thanks for the heads up.
Tom

I can just imagine what it's like to stroll through that building. That must have been a treat. Can't wait to see your pics after the auction.
I like the 46 Ford truck.

I was only there for an hour this weekend - which wasn't long enough, I plan to go back next Saturday for hopefully two or three hours... Some of the cars are already gone, I know I didn't see the '56 Corvette...

Just got a clarification from the college today when I was there, they just don't want closeup detail photos of the car public, so I actually can post some of the photos, here's one...
