Hey , anybody out there install a componet system in a TR6????? I've seen where people have taken the dash vents out and placed speakers in there place. Also would like to try and install speakers in the headrests of my seats (1971) beforee i finish the reapoltering. Any comments

It's probably easiest, and the least amount of butchering on the car to install box speakers behind the seats. A couple of decent sized speakers will fit nicely behind there. That way, you don't have to ruin the interior!

I'm not sure if this works for the TR6 but I know a pair of mkI mx5 seats will fit into a spitfire with a little modification of the bottom bracket, a few people have done this basically because the mx5 seats come with the speakers pre fitted & if you get the leather ones they look pretty nice too. but as for the TR6 I'm not sure but may be worth looking into if all you need to do is change the frame!!! hope this helps..
