1987 XJSC Canvas on removal top(s) are faded. Any thoughs on what to use to bring them back?

Tks

Don't treat the canvas with Thompson's Waterseal or anything similar, the petroleum distillates will destroy the coating on the underside of the fabric. I had to replace the top. I had used Thompsons on a tent with good sucess. Make sure that the dye that you use is not water soluable. I tried leather dye on a spot on a convertible top on my XJS and it bleached out looking worse than before.

Thanks for your input....in another life time I used a convertable top dressing that was sold by J.C. Witney. It was water proof but I don't know if it came in colors. Of course this is not a convertable top so I don't know if that stuff would work.

Perfect product...Renovo, out of the UK. You can buy it here, https://www.renovousa.com/

Excellent product. I have no connection with these people, just in case you were wondering
