Going to press the B into service again as a "daily".

I got a GT front sway-bar from Tony (likely originally from Mickey's GT! ) I didn't install it, that needs doing and the alignment is a bit out.

Apathy/laziness/procrastination has been the real problem. But rollin' about in mom's Benz is just BORING. :smirk:

So THAT'S where it went! :jester:

Is the Alfa past saving, or just in need of too much work right now?

The Alfa trans needs R&R, we've had nothing but rain every day at between three and four O'clock, temps in the low 90's before and after it rains. I'm demotivated to be squirming around on my back in the driveway under an Alfa.
In a month or so, conditions will improve.

...do NOT ask about th' garage... :jester:

Didn't say a thing about it, now did I?

But now that you mention it...

Oh, you of th' outbuilt BARN!!

I'd guess that you'd still have no space even if you had the barn, Doc. Just saying.

Pro'lly right... the "layers" would just be a bit thinner. :jester:

May I suggest a thinning of the piles? Nothing feels quite as nice as working *inside* with adequate space.

When I built the barn/shed, I specifically built it only as large as I needed -- not lots of extra space where I'd be tempted to store even more crap.

What do I discard? Spare hydraulics? Starters? Weber carbs? SU HS4s? Alfa engines? Lotus engines? MGB engines?

"The Carmunglers" had a meeting last eve, the plan afoot now is to gather here at some yet-to-be-named date in the NEAR future and do the Alfa Trans-formation.

We grilled up some Italian sausages, consumed adult beverages and hashed out a good "battle plan" for the deed. Inventoried the shed and did a recon of the garage, too. We've a reworked head to install on another Spider, pro'lly next Saturday. After that, the one here is on the roster. May even happen next Sunday. They're motivating me to get on with it. All good.

You have to ask, realistically, will you ever get to have the Loti running again? How many spare MGB engines do you need (no more than 1 spare I'd figure). How important is the space? I'm ruthless when it comes to clutter. I need to come for a visit and we'd have that garage cleared out in a weekend.

Good luck with the Alfa. Hope the trans pull is easier than on the MGB...
