Can't open word

Opened the wrong email from a friend a couple of days ago. Kelly tried to open word and now it won;t open. Tried to restore in safe mode but that didn't help. Any ideas? It's the MS Word Starter 2010 version.
 
Run the A-V proggy of your choosing. In "safe mode". Then again in normal operation.
