MGB Can't get idle down

Loosen screws, adjust butterfly until it seats, tighten screws, peg bottom of screws with small chisel. See if that works.

and LarryK is the winner! Pulled the screws out, adjusted the butterfly a bit, and it sealed up as it should. Replaced the screws with some Loctite as per Hap's instructions and put the whole thing back together. Idles down as it should now, smooth as butter!

Thanks all for the suggestions. Was a great learning experience for me, always working to expand my mechanical knowledge.
 
Was a really great feeling to finally take the car out for a spin. I've had trouble with holding a decent idle since I bought the car, that issue appears solved now. Definitely an improvement.
