To heck with the new.I'll keep on doing it the old way and pay the accountant to figure out my mess.At least we get enough back to buy him lunch.

Yet another common interest with our friends to the North. I'd seen the same form as an IRS form awhile back. The mention of accountants brings to mind why I don't think the systems will ever change. Between the accountants the tax preparers and the lawyers there's just too much money in maintaining the status quo.

A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00.
When the Canada Post received the letter addressed to God, Canada, they decided to send it to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill.
The Prime Minister thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy. The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read :

Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Ottawa, and, as usual, those
thieves deducted $95.00 in taxes.

I loved that one about the little boy.
