can you say "security breach"?

I sure hope that tomorrow we learn this is a totally bogus story:

Confidential architectural plans for the new Freedom Tower in NYC were just found in a garbage can.

Re: can you say "security breach"?

I'll bet there's lots of copies floating around
with all the bids that had to be made. Doesn't leave
you a good feeling, nonetheless.

Re: can you say "security breach"?

I don't get the big deal; so what! & I definitely don't know what's confidential about them...you can get copies of blueprints of buildings most anywhere...&, yep, there's probably lots of copies floating around out there - some valid copies, some copies of earlier work that was discarded....& there'll be more as construction progresses - & lots of them will find their way to trash cans as the contractors are finished with them.

I see this as a buch of hooey about nothing! JMPO

Re: can you say "security breach"?

I'm sure once it is built my company will get a copy for the sign bid. I'll let you know what I find out not that we'd do anything.

"They were right on top, and the garbage truck came along 10 minutes later," said Mike Fleming, the man who found the blueprints. "I was outraged, because this is priceless and it could get into the wrong hands."

Thus spake the bum who found them (read the second link). He was probably reading from a script while the reporter dangled a 6 pack in front of him.

The thing isn't built - you think the blueprints won't change?

I guess nothing else happened in the world today...

Not true! Lot's of important stuff happened. For example, Katie has denied rumors that her marriage to Tom is in trouble. :jester:
