While visiting my daughter at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain.
I was excited to find this relatively small town has a pretty good auto museum.
( weak on British & goose egg on Triumph I regret to say)
but interesting none- the-less.

I'm posting a pic of one, I think has a lot of roadster class.

I didn't know it, but perhaps you will?

Yes Joe, you nailed it.
Pegaso Z-102 (Barcelona Espana)
made from '52 -'58. (86 total)

very powerful with an alloy V-8, relatively light at 2600 lbs. , but a brut to handle.
at least according to Wikipedia

Probably the one car my wife would be okay with me adding to the garage - she loves Pegasos. Sadly, I'm about a million short at the moment.

When I was a kid, the first plastic car kit I ever built was a Pegaso. Than one was an older model but also brutally handsome. I've been hooked on cars ever since.

Salamanca did offer a few Detroit history examples, such as: a '58 vet, a studabaker, a model T,..... but the 1974 AMC Pacer was the most current offering for US technology.

When I first spotted it, I thought Volvo, also.
but it has closer ties to Alfa Romao.
(According to one history I read, anyway)
