They look kind of neat on this TR6.

Can't really tell from the pix. All sorts of companies made knock-offs of the classic BBS "basket" pattern wheels.

I would look for something that could potentially fit the Datsun 240Z and its relatives.

Here's an example:

Hey - I know that car. The owner did a fantastic rebuild, and that is Lamborghini Red you are looking at with 280z wheels.

Very - very impressive job on the restoration.

Car/owner is based out of the SoCal area, in the Riverside area.

I think the blue car in the background might be Richard's, another local guy.

The top wheels were made by ET mags in the 70-80's. Kevin's red TR6 wheels are from the 280ZX Turbo, as the non turbo 280 ZX's used 14" wheels.

Paul your right, those are from 1981 1/2 280ZX Turbo 15x6 with zero off set.
To mount these on the TR6 you have two options, change the studs to metric and that would allow you to use the Nissan lug nut or you can purchase these https://store.summitracing.com/part...rt=WLD-601-1914&N=700+302040+115&autoview=sku from Summet Racing and I believe it's 1 in.
cut off the lenght. This is the only lug nut I could find that matches the shank diameter (0.745in) of the Nissan lug, as the wheel is lugcentric.

Thanks Tom , you have a good memory for detail of my car. The blue car in the background belongs to Robert Tyler, cover of Moss Motors spring/summer 2008 Triumph TR250 and TR6 magazine.

A VERY nice gentleman, indeed!! RT sent me the nice big red TR6 logo decal for my radiator shroud last summer. Thanks again, RT!!

Joe,

where in Riverside?

I used to work at Joe Vittone's Econo Auto Center waaaaaaay back in the early 70's...
