Can it be put back?

With enough work, anything can be "put back". But I'll bet it wouldn't be easy! Most likely the original mounting points on the frame are gone ...

No respect for the marque, for one of the greatest of all LBCs, IMHO.

Too bad. :yesnod:

Ok, I just want to make sure I understand. You took a car with "[independent front] suspension, disc brakes, 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed transmission" and changed it to a car with "Mustang II suspension (independent front only, IIRC), disc brakes, 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed transmission"? Did I get it all? :confuse:

Normally I look forward to Gil's Internet roundup, but that is just sad...

Not pretty at all ... prob'ly can't be be buffed out either, huh :confuse:

Not just because I own one of these side screens... But I agree...this is a neat classic car. Seems much better choice if they wanted to do some of these mods to head towards a Cobra Kit Car or something like that. Heaven only knows....this could have been a nice project for someone. See more of this type of mods in the Healeys....right? Gil NoCal

Totally agree

At least the first guy didn't put the badges back on. Why on earth would anyone shorten the wheel base of a 3. Was it too long?

I missed the "shortening" part of it.

I keep waiting to see the front end start hopping up and down like one of the LA low riders do.....
