Can this be true? Ebay item again.

I dont know where this guy got his information, because it's wrong according what I read. Several simple searches on the net showed in 1964, they made 9,603 Midgets, Numbers GAN2-16184 - GAN2-25787. I didn't take the time to see what the U.S. import numbers were.

geeee, is that what dual webers look like??? Awfully similar to a pair of SU's.........

Is this guy for real? maybe the water he's drinking is not quite right if they are Webers my Midget is gold plated yea thats it

Just goes to show you that these little machines might as well be from another planet for some people. Hopefully his admission that he is not an expert will keep some uninformed bidders from taking his claims to heart.

Someone asked him a question and stated that there were 337 "of this model". What the heck does that mean? This model with that color with that option with those tires with that pressure?

I also did not see the first time, his description of a Super Rare car. OK so now we have Super Rare eBay cars.

OH MY GOSH!!! THE LAST MIDGET IN THE U.S. I GOTTA BID NOW!!!!!!!!!

Dear All --

Since I have a 1964 -- I am going to agree with him and sell mine since mine has a higher serial # than his and is "very rare" and probably close tot he last one made for the US. I think I'll retire since it's so valuable.

Does this Yahoo moonlight as a appraiser ? I have some swamp land, errrr, beach front proerty I'd like to swap.

George, Does your Sprite also have the classic rust like his? I'd think you could charge extra for the "antique" effect. LOL.

My BMH certificate says my Bugeye was 1 0f 1 made on 3/24/59 with rev counter and windshield washer, white walls and white paint and white piping on black seats destined for the US market....must be worth a fortune!

It's sort of true - there were only 337 GAN2 cars built to LHD North America spec in 1964, plus 150 RHD cars - cos they stopped making 'em and changed to GAN3 in March of that year!
Now, if it'd been a non-North America LHD GAN2, that'd have been even rarer - only one was built!
