Only crept out at night with the wooden steering wheel and after market wooden shift knob.

But with the help of Ebay and TRF, we're in business now baby.

The PO liked all that wood stuff, I'm more into original.

Ya wanna send yer old, good fer nuthin', butt ugly,
wood wheel to the tropics? I'll be happy to take it
off yer hands for Amos. Amos got no working horn button.

Someone already took it off my hands. It took all of 2 Ebay hours. But you are welcome to a free deluxe wooden shift knob with the Triumph shield. Feels like you're shifting a cue ball.

Thanks anyway Stirkle:

DPO Pedro had one of them "deluxe wooden shift
knob with the Triumph shield. Feels like you're
shifting a cue ball."

That was one of the very first things I replaced on
the Crypt Car.

Did you refinish the dash as well?
Looks improved in the later picture

No, I didn't need to. I think the PO thought that a wood wax was needed on this dash. It had a dirty sort of light oily film that came off pretty easily with Fantastik cleaner. Back to that nice satin finish.
