Camera Question - lens

That link didn't work... *shrugs* But if you're comparing the two lenses, with one being $50 more, the extra $50 is worth spending due to what I mentioned...
 
I have the 55-200 VR lens for my Nikon D90. The VR is what someone else mentioned -- it helps stabilize the image when you're shooting with it. It's a good lens. My main lens is an 18 - 105 zoom. The extra zoom comes in handy mostly for outdoor shots, like this one when a EA-6B Prowler from VAQ-209 buzzed our cruise ship:

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but I like a remote cable for Macro shots as I have a tendency to wiggle the camera when snapping the shutter without one. PJ
