Currently rebuilding my engine-looking for cam specs for 100 and 100-M specifications.

Also could some one send me a picture of the bonnet bracket on the cold air box side that is configured differently to clear the cold air box?

Thank you:\

Pete

Hi Pete, I remember looking into this with my previous car, I found some good specs on the Dennis Welch site not exact M Spec but recommended.

Awsome...just what I was looking for..thank you

Appreciate the help.

Pete

The bracket that you are looking for is a shrould support bracket, not a bonnet bracket. I noticed that the 100m registry sells them to members for $45 + shipping. I am not a member so I cannot help you buy one. Look at their "Regalia" section, they call it a notched bracket. Also, you could do a search for "Austin Healey 100-4 LeMans shroud cold air spacer bracket" for one currently for sale on ebay. The seller is 512classics aka Sports and Classics. Thanks. Hey Pete,
If you're modifying your BN1 to LeMans specs and you haven't already, consider getting it registered with the 100M Registry. Bill Meade has a separate listing for LeMans modified cars plus does sell the bracket as mentioned.
Regards,
Mike

I have registered my car years ago....

I have a bracket I bought..but it doesnt seem to be much different than the one on my BN-1....hence my desire for a close up picture.

Been thru all the books ..no luck..so If I canget a good pic close up on the car before my engine rebuild is done I would be thrilled.

Pete

The Sep-Oct issue of Austin-Healey Magazine has an exhaustive article on the 100M, and includes a photo of the bracket.

When is your rebuilt engine due? Our shroud is installed, but we might pull it off for more painting, and I could get some photos (but it may be a few weeks).
