That wouldn't have been a late 70's, early 80's Audi would it?
Not quite. 1970 100LS. First year they were offered in the US, and in many ways better than the later models. Had outstanding performance and fuel economy, for a 5 passenger sedan.

When I finally junked it, I went to look at the current crop of Audi's and was sorely disappointed. Scared the poor salesman half to death, because the first thing I did on the test drive was hop on the freeway, expecting the same kind of acceleration up the ramp. But instead of doing 70 by the time I got to the top, it was only doing about 45 and the semi I pulled in front of didn't appreciate it.

Well, the car's finally got a bid at $14,000. Unfortunately for the seller, the bidder has a feedback score of 0. Could this be a case of a scammer scamming the scammer?
