Spitfire Caliper bolts, again

The caliper on our Herald is leaking - same piece as the Spitfire. I split the caliper to make installing the new piston and associated rubber easier.
Ready to re-assemble and I don't remember the torque wrench setting. I see posts from some time ago suggesting a range from 35 to 75 ft. lbs, (or is it lbs. ft?)

After writing to a Spitfire enthusiast, we agreed the torque should be 50. Thirty-five too low, for the size bolts in use, seventy seemed too high. Hence fifty. So far the car stops, and no leak.

I don' know if the Spitfire uses the same calipers (16P or 16BP) as the TR6, but on the TR6, the inside bolts are 7/16" dia. and are torqued to 70'lbs, the outside bolts are 3/8" dia. and torqued to 40'lbs. At least according to the Buckeye tech article.
