Drove up to Waveney Park in New Canaan for the fall car meet called Caffeine and Carburetors. There are 4 each year. There were about 400 cars there I would think, plus spectator cars and hundreds of people. Beautiful clear day, temp around 60F when the sun rose a bit. We had 5 TR6's in our group. There were 2 TR3's, one with Weber carbs and all kinds of mods, several MGA's, a couple of B's, a TC, a TD, several Healeys, 4-5 XKE's, 2 XK 140s, couple of Morgans and Lotuses (Lotii?), at least one Sprite, several Astons including a beautiful Superleggera completing the LBC contingent. The car that attracted the most attention was a Pagani Huayra with the rear hood up and pipes exposed. There were the usual contingent of Porsches including a 917(ugly car that it is). I took a picture and maybe if someone tells me how, I can post it here. Italian makes included scads of Ferraris including a couple of Dinos, one green Alfa spider, an old Fiat 1100 roadster (the one with the split grille - I also have a picture), a newer Fiat spider, the oldest car there - a 1909? Fiat, a huge thing;a Lancia sedan, a new Alfa coupe, black;a few Maseratis, several hotrods and Model A's and many newer sports cars including a Lexus sports coupe I never saw before, an Audi sports coupe, Nissans; an older Datsun SPL 310 in mint condition, many muscle cars and many other cars I didn't get to see because I had to leave. There was just too much to take in and too many people.
