Just came back from a car meet in Waveny Park in New Canaan. They have two in the Spring and two in the Fall. They must have had 250 cars or more there. There were 2 TR 6's including mine, and 3 TR 3's - 2 modified as I sent pictures to the Forum last year, and one 1959 stock. An owner of a Buick Wildcat said he was looking for a Triumph GT6. He found one in South Carolina but the owner wanted $18,500.00. None of the TR owners or the Buick owner had heard of the Forum so I talked it up and told them where and how to sign on. other LBCs included an Arnolt Bristol, several MGAs, one TD, several Austin-healeys & Lotuses (Lotii??), one Sprite, several Jags, 3 Morgans including an Aero coupe, one Aston Martin. Other cars included Carroll Shelby's personal Cobra ans loads of Ferraris, maseratis, Alfas, one Lancia, tons of Porsches (after all this was New Canaan), a few hot rods and old American cars, muscle cars, German iron. etc. I have developed a new clunking noise in the rear of my TR6 which I'll deal with in another post.
