I've got (another) Datsun B210.
The owner is moving to Thailand.I contacted
him as he was getting ready to leave,so he
gave me the car.I gave him a dollar for it.
Is there any way of transferring this car
without having to insure & register it?
This car has been rolled,so will be a parts car.

Register it as non-op. The fees are very low, and the car stays legal. You shouldn't need any insurance or inspection to register it as such.

Steve,

Thanks! I did the '78 (non op),& the '74-
- (salvage) - total = $18!
They even renewed my driver's license.I thought
that I might fail the "eyechart test",but I didn't.
