TR2/3/3A bypass hose

I need to replace the radiator bypass hose on the TR2 and I have a question for the group.

Do I need to drain the radiator or block or neither or both?

You'll want to take it down some -- say, half way -- I think you just need to get the coolant level below the neck of the water pump that the hose connects to.

If you haven't drained enough it will tell you.

Agreed- when I changed out my water pump I also replaced the bypass hose - I just drained the radiator.
