Isn't that what the forum is for? And I think it is fairly widely accepted that group problem solving is better than individual problem solving. Keep the questions coming.

For sure Tom, it is a team effort, keep the questions coming. I am going to be working on my OD this summer, and I appreciate your questions because I have no experience with an OD.

Steve, I’ll try to help. I rebuilt my OD over 7 years ago, virtually online. Every step of the way was right here on this forum. If you do an advance search in this forum you will like find over 100 detailed discussions and responses, pics included. A number of amazing folks here helped me, but be sure to look for the guy who became a legend here: “TR3Driver.” (Randall). He knew everything and seemed to be online 24 hours a day. When I was done I was so grateful of everyone here I drove to Cal to meet Randall and we had a great lunch together. I’m so glad I did that.

PS Be sure to read the major articles online, including the Buckeye Triumphs ones, and the Greasy Hands Garage Guide. I’m assuming, of course, that you have an A Type Laycock overdrive.
