I am looking for a working buzzer.

These are TRF one on Plate EU. I think they are no longer sold in the US. I found similar at Rimmers.

good idea, but wouldn't know what to look for.

I saw one on flea-bay a few months back, in a job lot of other "relays". Didn't get the bid, or I'd give you the buzzer (I wanted the thermal relay for the fuel warning light on a Mk II Stag).

Anyway, you might keep an eye out there for another one.

Or, just order one from the UK. If you can get them to send it Royal Post "small packet", the charge isn't too bad.

Hey, DNK, wasn't it you that I sent the buzzer to that I had, or am I wrong and I gave it to someone else????

If you sent it to me the postman stole it for his MG

Why do you want one that actually works?

Those are among the most annoying things ever put on a car.

Next to emission piping on manifolds, gas traps, coolant sensors for vacuum advances, ya-da, ya-da.........

I found it. I donated it to a forum member in Cal.

I agree with Paul. Why would anyone want one of those things?

Check your PM for email address to contact.

Good luck...

Speaking for myself, I plan to wire mine up as a headlight warning buzzer. The Stag's headlight switch is an unfortunate (IMO) design that makes it hard to tell if the headlights are on (can't just punch it off when you turn the key off like most cars); and I've left the headlights on more than once when I leave for work in the dark and get there in the daytime.

But I'll also figure some sort of time delay, so the buzzer only sounds briefly.

Well, maybe in that case it would be useful, but other than that, they are just irritating noise makers.

Instead of the buzzer, you could make a recording of your wife yelling "Hey, turn off the lights you idiot and don't forget to shut the door!" Might make you feel right at home.
There's always the option of a second recording for when you are entering the car to remind you to wipe your feet before before stepping foot on the carpet.
