Burlington in th' cross-hairs!!!

Ben probably spoke of the biggest threat we'll see down here...wind gusts predicted to hit 50 this evening, and there are a lot of large branches stuck up in trees to blow on to electric lines. I would so rather be snowed-in while snug in a warm house than be without power in a cold one. Like the rest of you, thinking Spring weather can't come soon enough.

Did Tinster ever get his water supply restored?? I know he was without earlier in the week.

Nice avatar, Doc!!

Thanks, D. Interim change... Next one will be along directly :smirk:

Tinsters water was still out as of last night, but His Gym has water, so they were commuting there to take showers (Instead of using the pool...) Hope it gets back online soon!

We got hit hard and fast this afternoon, an official "snow burst". 3" inside of an hour!

3" in an hour.... That's a lot of *&%#^@g snow!!
Must have been whiteout conditions.

Too right. Luckily there was no wind otherwise there would have been a right mess. Accidents and spin-outs abounding all the same.

Well, it is gale force wind here. The noreaster we are experiencing is gusting the winds to 40 mph.
I just might end up in Oz :eeek:

Thanks Steve. That sounds like a good plan!

Only one thing to say when it is like that
"Bars open"

I'm saving that for two weeks.... after I do the Jefferson Cup. I'll be celebrating that it's over by then!
