I had been looking for the left side inner spring for my 56 TR3 for some time. For Christmas one of my sons bought me one from Moss. Guess what? It is not close to the profile of the original. Has anyone else encountered this? The curve is completely different and I doubt that the bracket will clear the body work given the large difference. I really don't even want to test fit as it is so different that I suspect it will be very noticeable when installed and the "height" between the two levels of bolts is at least 1/2 inch different, so I doubt the bumper will be anywhere near level.
Anyone have an old original to spare?
