Bumper question

Has any one converted a rubber bumper midget to chrome bumpers and what front turn signals did you use? Any info. greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have - I understand that you can make the signals from a chrome bumper car fit. I had my body guy put in beehive signals when he fabricated the holes for the bumpers and closed up the front vent holes. Truth be told, I like the round signal light look below the round headlight look better than the rectangular signal under round headlight look.

Thanks for the info. I've found front/rear chrome bumpers with the brackets from a 71 midget but not sure how to mount them. Looks like I may have to ask one of my buddies that's good at fabricating for some help... Thanks again

I like the headlights with the signals built in. I have a set sitting on the shelf waiting to be installed as I saw a Midget with them and it really looked good.

My body guy made up brackets - I can likely scare up a picture they just bolt directly on the front of the "frame" (where the tow rings are)

What would you do with the original mounting holes? I'm trying to imagine them filled in and what that would look like....

Much much nicer.

Found the picture of the bracket I had fabbed - the end is a nut so a bolt screws right in

That did come out nice. I'm tempted, but I'd ~HATE~ to cut my car, plus, I drive it everday everywhere and need my rubber bumpers.

What's the deal w/ the rear lights, will early lights fit late cars?
