Bumper bar rubber seals to shroud

Well, since I was on the subject of what sealer to use for the boot lid seal, how about these bumper bar seals? Do they get any sealant to the body??? I wouldn't want to get anything on the painted surface that shows.

Hi Lin,

I suppose you could glue these to the body but don't think it is necessary. They shouldn't move around since the fit is snug on the bumper support bars. I prefer to leave things like this loose so you can clean behind them if necessary or move them out of the way when waxing, etc. I haven't mounted my new ones yet so perhaps my opinion/advice will change when I do. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

NO!-Just be sure and read the position of them carefully on the inside as they are left and right handed.

I wouldn't want to get anything on the painted surface that shows.
