You may recall, back about two months ago, I posted a question concerning shims that I found under the front shocks of my '59 Bugeye.

Well, today was a beautiful driving day , so I took the Bugeye out for a cruise. I went over a set of relatively smooth RR tracks at about 35 MPH and the car almost jumped lanes! Remembering back to the discussion on bump steer, I purposely aimed for a bump in the road (a manhole) and again, the car jumped hard!
This winter, I removed a tube shock set up and also sent the front shocks to Peter C. for a re-build. I installed the same shocks in their original locations and did not re-install the shims.
Is this new experience just a matter of setting toe, or do I have another problem? I did not have this problem under the old set up. Thanks.
