Bullitt cars

Take a look around 2:39 in this opening clip:

The dark green car in the background ...

I'll have to dig it out and check then.

I've also tried Bing search for "Steve McQueen's Jaguar in Bullitt" and similar search phrases and came up empty. Beginning to think it's urban legend (not that he had a XKSS, but that it appeared in the movie). I suspect people who saw the Bizzarinni thought it was his Jag.

There was one really sweet Bizzarinni at The Elegance in Hershey last summer. It was something.

But I'm really wondering why there's been no comment on that clapped out Fiat 1100D? Here's our family's '58...suicide doors and all.

My sister had a Fiat 1100 in high school (for a very short period). It was replaced with a VW bug.

I recall a TV show a while back where some lawyer claimed to have the original Bullitt car. If the story that there were two and one was scrapped, the other still in a barn is true.....how o you know when a lawyer is lying?

The odd story out of the movie (I was in that area in 69 and 70) was the motorcycle that crashed and McQueen spins off in the dirt.
