Bullet Connectors are too large to fit Tail Lamps on BE

SO I have nice shiny new BE Tail lamps I am trying to install. Unfortunately, the OEM connectors on the wiring harness do not fit into the little brass sleeves on the tail lamps. so what's the solution folks have used. Solder on a wire to the slip on connector and create another failure point/ Even if I put a bullet connector on there and feed it into the trunk with a single connector it's going to mean climbing into the trunk to connect things. Solutions gentlemen. The **** OEM connectors should fit the tail lamps.

I thought the rear lamps used the loose bullet sleeves?

If that's what you call it. Are those supposed to be solder less and just wrap bare wire around end and push on? That's got to be it. And then there is my turn signal mystery I posted an ahexp. Brake lights and running lights got to be in the 3 wire flasher unit.

Yep, those are the correct ones. They used to be supplied with these or other lights that use these special connectors. I just bought several new brake and signal lamps for the Morris, and when I went to wire them up the other day, found they now need to be purchased separately (at least from the supplier I used).Ridiculous to buy compete lamp assemblies and have to buy the bullets separately when there's nothing else on the car that used them other than these and lamps like interior or license plate lights.

Jim,
I crawled in the boot once and fed all of the wire out of their corresponding holes and went from there. I used solder on bullets vs the slip on style and like that much better. I fed the individual wires thru the rubber boots before I soldered everything on and it was a very simple process, and solid.

So my plan will be to use the existing connectors that came with the tail lamps and go solder less for now but when I convert to a new wiring harness go to the loose sleeve bullets and solder on. Just trying to get Bugsy IV on the road for now and legal. Thanks Team.

The original system has been trouble free in my experience even though it looks a bit crude.
