I had Bugsy IV on jackstands up front w rear wheels blocked as I was installing front tilt for my bonnet this weekend. Front end raised about a foot. Came home from store and noticed a small puddle growing larger by the minute of 90w gear oil. Have not been under there to look yet but Why oh why did Bugsy divide to lose all of his diff oil. I did swap a 3.9 center pumpkin. But aside from that why did Bugsy decide to dump evertything out ?

Leaking drain plug?

Could Be. But I'll check. That's the most obvious. Need to finish front tilt install first. Then I can move on to fixing and more fettling.

Leaking fill plug? Angle of car caused it to leak.

I'm hoping it's that simple Trevor. I changed to one of those hex headed fill plugs.

Some of those hex headed plugs will need teflon tape. The threads are not tapered on all.....

I started using that teflon white plumber’s tape on the differential, trnas and engine drain plugs and it stopped the leaking problem.
