Bugsy got out of the garage yesterday.

Bugsy went for a spin yesterday for the first time since October. When asked what I wanted for Father's Day I asked for a Non Structured Do Nothing Day. In other words time to spend in the garage. Managed to get the windshield bolted in place and installed the DS Miata Seat. A little 1" square tube under the rear of the seat and 3 extra holes in the floorboard and seats are in. The 1" tube raises the rear of the seat so it is level. Was able to retain RR Corner mounting location with a 2" 1/4 - 28 Screw. Front needed a new hole in right but able to go into the stock track. LF and LR needed a new hole. Other than that, more leg room thatn with stock seats and raising the rerar slightly so the seat tracks are level gave a more comfortable driving position. Headrest fit right alongside of roll bar and all is well.

Bugeye bonnet is bolted on the front but still needs major adjustment. Bungy corde to the rescue. Did about a 6 mile errand minus headlamps, turn signals, and horn wit hBungy holding rear of the bonnet in place but oh was it ever fun, fun, fun to be back on the road again. One more seat to reengineer and then Bonnet work to get it out of primer will begin.

Now you getting to the fun part. Well done.

What kind of Pics, Ugly rusted, primered. in need of Bondo Bugeye Bonnet on a '68 or Miata Seats.
