Bugeyes on the road?

Does anyone know how many remaining bugeyes are left on the road today? Gads...many were built but rust, wrecks and decay have taken their toll!

Mine's not on the road right now, but it probably counts...

Don't really have an useful answer, but I'd guess less than 10,000. There were 49,000 built, but many were used hard and put away wet.

I tried looking on the national AH site - no luck. It's a mystery.

Those who have registries are not willing to share the data.

An easier question might be: How many BEs do we have here on the BCF?...

I suspect there are plenty here that are on lurk mode. I belong to several lists/forums where I primarily lurk. This is the only one where I post regularly.
