So I have a guy who is selling the two bugeye's in the pic, package deal for both. Both are original cars with no rust, stored since 1980 or so, both run but one is having oil pressure issues. Sunday I'm going to check them out, I'd like to keep one, if anyone is interested in the other, PM me. And the 3000 is spoken for

good luck!

Went and checked them out, solid restoration candidates, but beaters as they sit now. But they are rust free. So the question is what might they be worth....

If truly rust free they definitely have some value -- having had to do full body work on a car recently, it's not an insubstantial value.

Maybe the seller would do a 2-for-1 deal?

I was thinking 2500 each, but I don't know. One had the rear beading removed, and a good amount of putty on the lower front of the bonnet. He's having a mechanic look them over soon, hopefully that number will discourage future work.

Since the rest of the country has only rusty ones I think $2500 would be a deal! Of course paint and body plus whatever else is needed doesn't come cheap now days.

Kurt.
