Bugeyes door pockets

When I ordered my panel kit I didn't realize that it came with vinyl to cover the original door pockets, so I ordered a set of door pockets as well. I received enough material to cover both door pockets inside and out, but my originals were only covered on the outside with the vinyl going over the top edge covering the metal 'bow'. I haven't seen this addressed anywhere and would like to do a proper job...anyone know what that is?
Thanks, Rut

My originals had been covered with carpet, and at the time I thought it would be best to just order new ones; so bought some from AH Spares. They are covered inside and out but I don't like reproduction; they're flat Unlike the curve in the top of the originals. I just finished recovering my originals and am very pleased with the outcome! I didn't bother covering the inside. I believe Whitefrog had a pictorial of the recovering of his door pockets. It was him or David Doan, I can't remember

Hi Rut,

Originals were covered both sides with a single piece of vinyl.

Cheers
Lew
