Bugeye won't start - help please

Re: Bugeye won't start - help please

Any change in status with the car? Did you get it started?

Re: Bugeye won't start - help please

Wait a minuet; most everyone is saying that it’s the battery or bad cables. Yes you can purchase a bad battery, but. Theirs was no conformation of whether the generator is replenishing the voltage back to the battery when it used up its amps by the starter draw and the ignition coil and radio? It needs to be 13.5 to 14.5 volts push back to the battery for storage, if that’s not occurring then you will drain any good battery down.

The battery, solenoid, and generator are new. Once I get my car started this weekend, I will chekc to see what the output to the battery is. Thanks for the tip.
