Bugeye with Sebring nose

The Bugeye in a barn near my friend's place is in VERY good shape and just needs finish up work (install the new interior which comes with it etc). It has a Sebring Sprite nose on it. What can anyone tell me about this conversion (it is still a convertable) and it's effect on value? He is asking pretty short money for it considering all the work done to it.

I am an MGB person so my knowledge base on these conversions is limited.
 
Recommend that you (a) get pics and (b) talk with Tom Colby of Speedwell Engineering. Tom makes those bonnets (I'm thinking that it is probably a Monza bonnet) and in any case if you have pics he can tell you which one it is and how much they sell for.

Unless you have the find-of-the-decade on your hands, it is just a Sprite with a recently made replica of the fiberglass bonnets originally made by Speedwell 50 years ago.
 
It is defintely "just a Sprite". it was well done and I was curious about anyone familiar with them in NA.
