Bugeye Water/Oil Combo. Gauge?

There is no earlier Sprite or Midget. If you mean later Sprite/Midget then yes.
 
The face is a tad different (markings)... though not much.
 
OK, took a photo of mine (which is newer and doesn't technically belong in a '59 - it's my only newer one). It's a pretty common out used out there (and is later).Notice the double-lines around the perimeter. Also, I'm certain the "font" of the numbers is more clean-lined (or modern-looking).
