Bugeye Seat Runners

Does anyone have any Bugeye Seat Runners out there for sale? They are N/A from Moss, but the part numbers I am looking for are:

2x 640-600
1x 640-585
1x 640-595

New, or good/great condition used would be perfect.

Thanks.

Mustafa

hmmm, mine just had the fixed mounted ones with slotted holes, 640-580 there were no runners. Did the BE come with runners?

I believe the original set-up was one adjustable/slideable seat for the driver, and one fixed seat for the passenger. However, I am interested in converting both seats to adjustable--creature comforts of the 21st century! One way to do this is to buy the adjustable track for L/H drive cars, and buy the adjustable track for R/H drives...I think. Let me know if I'm off.

Think both seats then will have to be drivers side seats. I have seen these on ebay. Check frequently.

All that yopu need is the runners and fitments from the driver seat. They will swap over to the passenger seat frame....I think?
Find an old driver seat from any early sprite and there you go. Take the stuff off and put it on the passenger seat ya got.
If you were close I'd say come to the box sale I know what you nned is in the warehouse....somewhere.

I think the handle that you grab to adjust/slide back and forth is particular to the right and left side. That is, the handle for the drivers side for L/H drive cars is on the left side of the seat. Handle of the drivers side of R/H drive cars is on the right side of the seat. Or perhaps I have that exactly backwards....

Nevertheless, you are right, Roger, I can make it work using the same runners from two drivers sides...I just wanted to have the handles on "opposite" sides.

Most importantly, I don't have an extra old driver seat from any old sprite at my disposal. Hence the outreach /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Correct Jollyroger. The seats in the Mk-II's and Mk-IIA's had the adjustable passenger seats. Runners are the same just the passenger seat base changed to include the lever on the right side of the base.

wait, I don't get it..show judges penalize you for having a chrome name badge instead of the correct "gold" whatever...and I get called picky picky for wanting matching handles? geez!

just kidding of course-- Thanks for all of the advice.
