Bugeye restoration up-date

Since the weather here has been unusually mild for this time of year I have made substantial progress. Here’s a few photos. Very nice. Fun to see such updates.

Nice work!

Re: Bugeye restoration up-date

Looks like from the weather report your work might be coming to a halt!

Still some good days left. Remember this is New England, folks round here are tough. C06AF000-EDFB-46AA-8563-3682B6CA44F8.jpg

Raining here in SE NY.
re: your picture #4... I also ran the brake line over the shock and have considered whether I'd have to break that line to get the shock out...?
I put the shocks on after I did the brake lines. Should be no problem to remove.

Re: Bugeye restoration up-date

Excellent!

Nice to see someone making progress (my projects are all stalled these days).

Down on it’s wheel for the first time since last year. 951AB819-FBF5-4E78-B31C-58691F527820.jpg

Re: Bugeye restoration up-date

So did you climb in. Gab the wheel in both hands and make Vroo9m, Vroom Sounds? LOL. I would.

Re: Bugeye restoration up-date

You gotta grab the wheel and make vroom vroom noises and maybe even shift some gears...keeps us young!

Re: Bugeye restoration up-date

I did shift some gears but the car is in the garage and the transmission is in the basement. I was tempted to let it go down my steep driveway with just the e brake but I don’t know how I would get it back up.
