Bugeye Radiator Tank Plug Size?

Serck may have told me wrong, but calling them asking this particular question Tuesday? Then sending the photo and stating what size they machine their bungs is puzzling? My radiator is not made to the original specifications. My temp prob is threaded into the cylinder head, a more accurate temp reading. My thermo-fan switch is threaded into its specially machined bung at the standard bung location on side of tank.

Where did you buy the sensor that fits into the radiator? In my case, my cheapo aluminum radiator had 3/8 NPT threads so several aftermarket sensors matched but when I had a stock radiator i had troubles finding one with bspp threads.

Nice install. I love the silicone hoses.

Trevor, my radiator that Serck build for me is way different then the eBay stuff. I had Roy move the core as far forward as possible to enable the 11” Spal electric fan to clear the front side of steering rack. The radiator has 4 brackets with studs attached so as the fan drops on to and bolts flush to the core. I also had them weld tabs it support the wiring harness for the fan. The bung was machined to fit a 1977 VW rabbit thermo-fan switch, I think it was 19 x 1.5 mm?
