Bugeye in Nashville

Hate to start a knock session, but the first thing that stands out is that the bonnet is missing the rockers by a bunch! It would take a lot of work to get that part right.

I live in Spring Hill, 30 miles south of Nashville. I believe this car is located in Columbia, TN, another 10 miles south of me.

I think this is the same car that was offered for sale in the fall. If it is, I spoke with this gentleman on the phone. He was very friendly and open to my just coming by to look at the car (which I couldn't fit into my schedule).

If it is the same gentlemen, he is in business of buying/selling vintage European autos. I met him at the Nashville British Car Club show in October, where he was passing out his business cards to some of the owners.

If someone would like me to look at this car. let me know. I'll be in Washington, DC until Friday.

How did he get the bonnet to fit the cowl so nicely and miss the rockers so badly??? That took some special effort!!! For as nice as the rest of the exterior and engine looks, the area around the MC looks a bit tatty!! I wonder what the underside looks like?

nice bugeye, I note that the jack set is wrong it is for a Mark II.

Anyway, I like it. I would have a matched set.
