bugeye in a field

Oh, well. Reason for asking is that after almost six years of restoring a 100-6, I'm in the process of trying to explain to my wife what a wonderful idea it would be to go ahead and do it all over again with the Bugeye. I saw the great job Jack did on his website, and thought that if she saw Miss Agatha, maybe she would see the light a little bit faster. It's not that she's against it, she's just not firmly for it enough yet.

My MGB sat in similar circumstances for four or five years. It's now 90% and a few weeks from "the end". Friends and relatives were screaming: "Why don't you SCRAP that old lump?!"

Yea Doc, what's with the old lump, oh wait that's your car.

Hay I resemble that remark, old lump.

Well I dought if Miss Agatha will be finished by Chrismas but sure won't be 5 years. At my age we haven't got time to mess about a whole lot. Miss Agatha and I have a lot of years yet I hope but we got no time to waste.

Five years sittin out, two to get to where it is now... shoulda been six MONTHS but "other things" got inna way. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The Elan is next on the slate and will NOT take that long.

BTW: Are you still up where Sherman marched, or did you get away clean?

Not away yet bud, will march out sunday. Been a week let me tell you.

I kinda got that impression.

Buck up. It'll all be over soon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hope the wife and I are still speeking when we depart.

She said, next time we come here for a week, you take off and go to Tonys for a day or so to get away. Guess I could visit Hap as well.

You're SET!!!

...Who says us Old Fa**s are stoopid?!?!
