Bugeye ignition coil wire help

I am getting better at reading the wiring diagram, but I have a long ways to go. I think my diagram shows a white and then a white wire with black stipe going to the ignition coil. If this is correct, can someone tell me which goes to the positive side and which goes to the negative side? How does one tell this from the wiring diagram? Thanks,
Kevin

In true fact it makes no difference. Engine will run just fine either way.

It will run either way BUT, wired incorrectly you develop lower spark energy.

What goes where depends on the polarity of your car. As built with positive ground, white wire goes to SW (switch) and the white/black wire goes to CB (contact breaker). IF you have switched polarity to negative ground, switch the coil connections.

Now I understand my wiring diagram better, thanks. I couldn't figure out what the (SW) and (CB) stood for, as there was nothing in the key to tell me.
I don't know if I should start a new questions, but what else would I need to change for a negative ground set up for my car?

If you are keeping the generator, there is not much that needs to change. The coil was mentioned above. Obviously the battery connections change.

It is imperative that you re-polarize the generator. I believe that process is discussed in Haynes manuals. If not, post back here and one of us will walk you through it.

If you have a electric fuel pump, that has to be dealt with regardless of whether it's an SU pump or an aftermarket pump.

If you happen to have a positive ground radio, that will need to be removed.

If you have added an electronic tachometer, you would need to convert or remove it.
