Bugeye Horns

In the process of redoing my Bugeye, I think I maybe over did it. The question concerns horns, while purchasing parts i happened to notice that there were two different tones for the horns, I didn't know which one I had (as I recall it came out of a junk yard 20+years ago might have been a Ford for all I know) anyway I ordered a pair. They are HUGE!!! I do not know where they are supposed to be mounted. OR do I just have the wrong horns??? any suggestions???

Dale, the one horn about 4.5"Dia is attached to the lower portion of the left rad support upright.
Years ago I put another on the right side.

The original was a little flat horn - when my Bugeye was still quite new, I decided that it was simply not loud enough and installed a VW 6v horn. Look and size was the same, sound was essentially the same, but much louder. True, it would have a shorter life, but face it, one isn't on the horn button that much anyway. Currently you can probably find a new Bosch 6v VW horn for very few dollars at any VW shop.
