I've always thought of owning a hardtop for a roadster is sort of like owning a boat. It seems like a great idea, then you buy one and use it for a few seasons. However, gradually it becomes less fun and mundane. You get tired of storing it. It seems to always be in the way. It becomes too much of chore to take on/off, and eventually you sell it after a couple of seasons of non-use and collecting dust.
Obviously, there are some die hard sailors here that will disagree with me, but it this is just my opinion. Around here people say that the two happiest days in a man's life is the day he buys his boat, and the day he sells it.
