Where in Ohio? We may be able to relay it?

About a year ago a guy in Madisonville, Tennessee. Had a BE hardtop available. His name is Al Adams and his call name on ebay is Boolie. You might try to contact him through his ebay account.
 
I had BE hardtop that I sold to a guy in Duluth, MN cost $100 to ship from Toronto Canada. Strapped it to a skid.

I dug out my side curtains today to start cleaning them up. Man, they are in BAD shape. I havent looked at them since I bought the car. I need to look at some photos because I don't think they're original equipment.

Time to start watching ebay for another set.

Can you post any pictures of the side curtains you have?
 
I've always thought of owning a hardtop for a roadster is sort of like owning a boat. It seems like a great idea, then you buy one and use it for a few seasons. However, gradually it becomes less fun and mundane. You get tired of storing it. It seems to always be in the way. It becomes too much of chore to take on/off, and eventually you sell it after a couple of seasons of non-use and collecting dust.

Obviously, there are some die hard sailors here that will disagree with me, but it this is just my opinion. Around here people say that the two happiest days in a man's life is the day he buys his boat, and the day he sells it.
 
That's easy for you to say when you live in Kentucky. Weather protection is the name of the game here.

I can appreciate why some folks like the hard tops, but never had a desire for one myself. The soft top seems to seal pretty well, and is easy to store.

I pulled the Tunebug back from San Diego to Utah through a few rain and snow (!) storms on an open trailer, and the interior of the car seemed to stay plenty dry -- not that I was riding in it at the time, of course. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

My old Land Cruiser had a metal hard top and doors. I was glad to have access to a forklift and warehouse when I pulled it for the summer. Ever since, I've been more of a fan of soft tops.
 
Used my soft top winters in Battle Creek, no probs at all.
 
Ben, do you belong to the Austin Healey club?

It seems that there are a fair number of Bugeye people in that group and they network fairly well. I think that you should be able to find a hardtop relatively close to you.
