Bugeye gearbox rear seal

Correct. It is way up in the tunnel.

Hello, not sure but could you pull it foward far enough to get it thru the shift hole. maybe then you could leave the clutch line hooked up and not have to bleed that PIA. just a thought.

Oh, you do not need to bleed the clutch when removeing engine and tranny.

Pull engine forward maybe 8 inches and up then reach down with wrench and unbolt the slave, you previously undid the clevis and removed it.

Now it is off the engine/tranny and out engine/tranny comes. Replaceing is the reverse.

No probs at all, no bleeding, thank you very much.

Well if anyone knows it should be Jack as he has become an expert at removing and installing an engine weather he want's to or not LOL.

Just remember to NOT touch the clutch pedal while the slave is danglin'.

I put a nylon tie-wrap around the slave (end to end), as a "just-in-case" too.

Makes no difference Doc, there is a circlip in there to prevent the piston from comming out.
