I found ~THIS PAGE~ very interesting.

It details the little differences between later and earlier Mk 1 Sprites (at least those in Australia).

Very interesting, especially since I have a '59, which is right between those two and has a few of each of the differences described, though generally, more like the earlier car than the latter!!
